Would you rather be inside or watching TV?

UMMMM
if you know me at all, you will not even have to ask me this question.
The answer is and always will be: watching TV. I am not an oustide person. I like the air, dont get me wrong. I would just rather have my brain cells rot away! The only reason I would go outside is if it had just snowed. Cause snow rocks. And the only other reason would be if there was nothing good on TV. If there is just bad programs that i am not interested in, or some kiddies show, I wouldnt mind going outside and playin some basketball or somthing.

Super powers!

What would you do if God talked to you, and granted you the chance to have ONE superhero power what would you do??? Well, me personally, I would have to power of SUPER SPEEEDD! This would be awesome because even if there is a super strong villain, I could just run away from him. Then when he is sleeping, I WOULD ATTACK! And plus, it would be pretty amazing if I could run super fast because in Fitness, I could finish first for the first time! That would be so cool. I would LOVE to have SUPER SPEED and SAVE THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Juno!

Juno is by far one of my favorite movies EVER! The lines are funny and witty, and the actors were amazing. The plot is very funny and the actual characters were hilarious. My favorite part is when Juno is first finding out that “her ego is prego.” I basically loooved that line. I also love the part when Juno tells her best friend that she is pregnant. The response is the friend asks if she is sure it isn’t a “food baby”. My friends and I always joke about that part. It is quite hilarious. I love this movie, and can not wait until it comes out on DVD! I also wouldn’t mind going to see it in movie theaters again!

GOLDEN COMPASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, I saw the Golden Compass movie a few days ago. It was quite amazing, except the ending. The movie was cut short, right before the best part. I thought that the movie was well played, and the characters were well played by the actors. Nicole Kidman was perfect for the part, and made the character of Ms Coulter come to life. I was shocked however when the movie was abrubtly cut short. The movie was cut short right before Lyra and Jacob go to see her father. This is by far the best scene in the book, except for maybe the scene where the two bears fight.

I think that this is one of the most crazy things that I have ever heard. Hugging does show affection, but kids hug to greet or congratulate their friends. I know that if EA came up with the hug-banning rule, I would not follow it. I know that so many other people would not follow it either, and would just laugh at this rule. When I hug someone, I hug them because I haven’t seen them all week, or they just won a big award and earned some congratulations. It is a stupid rule that doesn’t make any sense what so ever. People should be wasting their time and effort on a case like this, because this is the most worthless case I have ever heard of. People should be using their time to fight for other causes, such as casinos in Philly, stopping and frisking, birth control in middle school, and what we would collect from our house if it was burning down and we had just 10 minutes to grab all of our precious belongings.

Do you think casinos in Philly is a good idea?

I do not think that having casino’s in Philadelphia is a good idea. It will increase the crime rate. There will most likely be a decrease of poverty, seeing as many people will blow their money away hoping to win the jackpot. It will be a bad influence on children, making them think that it is ok to gamble when in reality it is not. Then when the kids are old enough, they will waste their money on gambling. Gambling will increase the addiction, bring drug dealers into the area, and it costs a lot to make the casino's.

Stop and Frisk: Good or Bad?

I think that this should not be legal for many different reasons. For one, whoever is stopped and frisked will definitely feel degraded. They will become self-conscious about the way they look, and feel worse about themselves in general. Also, police could easily use the stop and frisk thing to take advantage of people, including women. We hear about corrupt police all the time in the news, and they could easily take advantage of this. Also, this could perhaps increase the crime and drug rate, if the stop and frisk makes the person feel bad about themselves. They might think that crime and/or drugs are their only way to feel better about themselves.

Birth Control in Middle School

-this is a good idea, ONLY if it is available to those who want it. When the kids ask for it, they should get turned in and then have to attend a 5-week class about teens and sex.
-I would probably die if I found out that my daughter was taking this pill. It would mean that she could be sexually active, or have sextually transmited disease. If I found out my daughter was taking this, I would take a Teaching 101 class, and then go and teach at her school, so that I could watch and make sure my baby girl is ok.
-Likewise, I would probably die if I found out one of my sisters was taking “the pill”. I am VERY protective of my sisters. I would basically go down to college and become my sisters roommate, and have a curfew for them. If either of them were on the pill without my parents knowing, I would definitely tell my parents, so that my sisters could be rightly punished. J
-Um I would definatley not take “the pill” for many different reasons, one being the fact that I am not a girl and am not sexually active.

What would you do if your house was burning down and you just had a few minutes to collect you things?

If I had just 10 minutes to collect the few of my belongings I could, I would first make sure my dog Scout and Sandy are safely outside (along with my family) and then go back up to my room. I would first take my Moshi pillow that I practially take everywhere I go. Then I would take my ipod with me to. I would grab my backpack with some of my school books (considering half of them were uber expensive), and stuff all of these items above /in it, including my favorite books, including HARRY POTTER. I would then grab my phone and my charger, then run to my dresser and grab all of the hoodies in sight. Then I would run out of the house and make sure my parents, 2 sisters, and 2 dogs are all safe.

What would you do if you had the entire attention of the world?!

If I had the entire attention of the whole United States, I would talk about how we should create more airports in more cities so that it is easier to travel, and make the costs of flights less expensive.

Does media affect kids and how they act?

I actually agree to this state for a few reasons. Kids, instead of using their time to do productive activities such as studying and what not, just use their extra time they have to watch trashy TV or listen to music that is just as trashy. Instead of this, kids could be doing things worth their time, such as getting outside and playing some kind of sport and getting exercise. Perhaps, they could even take up musical instruments, such as the violin or viola or cello. For instance, last night I spent almost 1 1/2 hours of my time watching TV while instead of using that time watching some show, I could have spent that time studying for a history test next week.

What would you not eat?

I would NEVER EVER NEVER eat people.
Thats gross.
If i was ever stranded on an island, i would perhaps eat sand, if thats all that was there. But i will never eat plastic.

Abortion

I think that abortion is possibly the worst think i have ever heard of. I think that it is not fair at all for babies to have their lives cut short. The babies have no say in it. The only defense for this, is that the babies really are not babies yet, they are just fetus'. This is crazy, because soon enoguh the fetus' will become babies. Even if the babie is born into poverty, its not like the baby will never be happy. There must be some happy moments in their life, and its not fair to take that away, and without even giving them a chance to argue their case. In fact, babies have finger nails, even when they are in the womb. Everyone can thank Su Chin from Juno for that fun fact!
